Role Definition:

We are currently seeking general laborers to join the team at our Wheelshop in Hamilton Ontario, performing the loading, unloading, movement and organization of materials as well as operation of machines.

Responsibilities:

  • Load, unload and move materials in and out of processing equipment.
  • Assist and coordinate with other machine operators and other shop floor processes.
  • Communicate with fellow employees to ensure quality products are produced.
  • Adhere to and promote safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • High-school Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in a heavy industrial environment.
  • 1-2 years experience safely acting as a general labourer.
  • Forklift Operator certificate a plus.
  • Crane Operator certificate a plus.
  • Ability to perform physical activities that require full body mobility, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and standing for an extended period.
  • Ability to lift 50 lb in a safe manner.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Rate of pay $23.22 with overtime after 40 hrs worked.
  • $800 retention bonus (paid after probation, subject to all applicable deductions)
  • Comprehensive group benefits package fully funded by Ronsco, with a RRSP contribution match up to 4%.
