Job Summary

We are seeking a Secretary/Bookkeeper to join our team. This role involves managing administrative duties alongside maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will be organized, efficient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. They will have experience with QuickBooks (Online and Desktop) and possess strong skills in bookkeeping and payroll. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth daily operations and accurate record-keeping within the team.

Hours typically worked are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. On occasion, management may extend office hours to meet demands and timelines - example: payroll processing.

We offer higher-than-average wages for our area. Wage will be discussed during the interview.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable (QuickBooks)
  • Process payroll accurately and on time (QuickBooks)
  • Post and track statistical data
  • Perform general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and document management, answering phones
  • Assist with social media content updates
  • Provide administrative assistance to upper management
  • General office support

  • Knowledge of OpenInvoice is an asset
