IT Specialist

We currently own and operate 3 hotels and 9 food and beverage outlets in Niagara Falls, including the Hilton Fallsview.

What will I be doing?

We're seeking a versatile and proactive IT Specialist to join our dynamic team supporting a diverse portfolio that includes hotel operations, restaurants, retail outlets, and our management company. As part of a small, fast-paced IT department, you'll play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the technology infrastructure that powers our business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on support for ~300 users/endpoints across multiple business units with varying technical needs
• Set up and configure desktops, laptops, printers, point-of-sale, and mobile devices
• Assist with onboarding of new employees, including hardware/software setup and user account provisioning
• Provide troubleshooting support for Windows 11, mobile devices (iOS/Android), and network connectivity
• Maintain a Microsoft 365 hybrid environment, including Entra ID and on-premises hybrid Active Directory
• Support and troubleshoot the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and other collaboration tools
• Maintain WAN/LAN network infrastructure, wireless internet, VPN, and point-of-sale systems
• Maintain Microsoft servers including Windows, SQL, Exchange, IIS, & Hyper-V, etc.
• Occasional network cabling and hardware installations (some lifting required)
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless IT operations and timely issue resolution
• Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for internal knowledge sharing

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in IT support, ideally in multi-site environments
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, and Office applications
• Experience managing Microsoft Exchange in a hybrid environment
• Solid understanding of networking technologies, including VLANs, routing technologies, layer2 networking
• Strong troubleshooting mindset and ability to research thoroughly and learn on the job
• Keep a well-organized workspace and manage multiple priorities
• Strong English language verbal and written skills

Bonus Skills:

• Bonus if you have some knowledge of telecoms, surveillance systems, access control, building automation, audio visual systems
• Experience with hospitality tech platforms would be a plus
