Roofer/Labourer

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roofer/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality workmanship. This role involves working on various roofing projects, assisting in the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofs. The Roofer/Laborer will work closely with experienced roofers and other construction professionals to ensure that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.

Duties

• Assist in the installation, repair, and replacement of roofing systems including shingles, flat roofs and metal roofs.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for roofing tasks.
• Perform heavy lifting as required, moving materials and equipment on-site.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in roofing or construction is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
• Use hand tools proficiently.
• Must be physically fit and capable of heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds)
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards learning new skills.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
