About This Role
Join our team in Belleville, Ontario as an Inventory Control and Logistics Coordinator, where you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our inventory operations. In this fast-paced and dynamic environment, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining inventory control policies and procedures that support responsible use of finished goods and enable optimal customer order fulfillment.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager and collaborating closely with the Inbound and Outbound Scheduler, you will help drive timely product shipments, effective warehouse space utilization, and consistent inventory processes. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will be key as you audit physical inventory, maintain accurate records, and reconcile discrepancies to support operational excellence.

This role requires agility, adaptability, and a strong sense of ownership as you contribute to the smooth flow of goods and the overall success of our logistics operations.

Here Is What You Will Be Doing

  • Inventory Oversight & Reconciliation: Complete daily inventory control tasks, review 24-hour movements, reconcile SAP/DLX variances, and manage cycle counts and write-offs.
  • Warehouse & Logistics Coordination: Maintain warehouse floor space, drive FIFO for trailers and shipments, and verify outbound documentation including bills of lading and seal logs.
  • Quality & Compliance Management: Oversee damaged, donated, liquidated, and quality hold inventory; ensure samples are prepared for testing; support audits and mock recalls.
  • Customs & Regulatory Compliance: Collaborate with customs on paperwork and new products, ensure CTPAT certification, and maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
  • SAP & System Accuracy: Monitor and correct IDoc errors, ensure PGI completion, and maintain accurate records across systems.
  • Carrier & Yard Operations: Liaise with Uber Freight and shunt operators for trailer coordination, weekend reporting, and DURP tracking; lead DURP committee.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with schedulers, quality supervisors, and other departments to resolve issues, improve processes, and support plant performance.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication, along with solid interpersonal abilities
  • Proven ability to manage complex situations and problem-solve effectively
  • High attention to detail with a focus on data integrity, safety, and quality standards
  • Willingness to learn and consistently follow standard operating procedures
  • Effective communication and written comprehension skills, foundational math abilities and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, in working conditions that may be hot, humid, wet/slippery, or dusty

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with shipping/receiving or logistics coordination highly preferred
  • Post Secondary education in Business Administration
  • Advanced computer literacy, particularly with SAP and Microsoft Office applications
  • Hands-on experience with SAP and inventory location systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage complex situations
  • Flexibility to work a variable schedule based on business needs

Salary Range:
$53, $67,400.00 CAN
