Who you are

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as our next Order Engineering Team Member. As an Order Engineering Team Member, you will be responsible for the walls manufacturing order process and driving operational excellence within our organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure wall projects are ready for production and meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

What You'll do

  • Produce complete, accurate and timely engineering of wall production orders.
  • Support for factory staff in executing wall component designs and drawings.
  • Design and implementation of custom elements to wall production orders.
  • Design and improve manufacturing order workflows, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Analyze data and metrics related to manufacturing order management to identify areas for improvement.
  • Support and commitment to continuous improvement of ICE software and DIRTT procedures.
  • Liaise with Product Development to implement and troubleshoot new product designs.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation of order engineering processes, including design changes, modifications, and updates.
  • Anticipate and effectively resolve project challenges and roadblocks.

What You'll bring

  • Post secondary education in a related field preferred. Engineering an asset.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. VBA code knowledge an asset.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to think logically, analytically, and solve problems.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced high stress environment.
  • Accountable, and able to make decisions independently.
  • Able to self-manage time based on scheduled work load.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry, within order engineering or production planning.
  • IMOS/Insight software experience would be an asset.
  • Experience in ICE software
  • Experience with Nexus and DIRTT Pile.
  • Experience with Zendesk.
  • Experience with solid modeling software (Inventor, Solidworks, CoCreate, etc) would be an asset.
  • Experience creating engineering drawings for a production environment.
