Job Description: Operate DZ class vehicles including tandem dump trucks and other commercial vehicles to transport materials to and from job sites. Work as part of a team to support excavating and civil construction operations.

Requirements:

  • MINIMUM 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE DRIVING.
  • Clear, effective, and strong communication.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability to change.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to work in rural location.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate DZ class vehicles including tandem dump trucks.
  • Transport materials to and from various job sites.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Maintain vehicles in clean and safe working condition.
  • Complete daily logs and paperwork accurately.
  • Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Ontario DZ driver's license in good standing.
  • Clean driver's abstract.
  • 5 years commercial driving experience NEEDED
  • Construction experience considered an asset.
  • TDG considered an asset

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, dayshift.
  • Overtime as needed.
  • Must report to yard daily.
