RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the daily lives of our elders by performing all aspects of Housekeeping
  • Ability to utilize equipment necessary to complete the tasks of the job, ie, cleaning equipment, etc.
  • Act as an advocate to protect and promote elder's rights.

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Grade 10 or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • TB testing
  • Must be physically and mentally fit for the work environment
  • Speak, read, and write the English language in an understandable manner
  • Pass a Criminal Record Check upon hiring and every 5 years thereafter
  • Must follow direction of the PHO for the recommended flu season and required vaccines
  • Previous experience is an asset but not required
  • Knowledge of Care of Persons with Dementia is an asset but not required

Pay: $24.34 per hour
