The Opportunity
As Ideogram's first Content Writer, you'll play an important role defining how our brand is represented by creating external and internal messaging that effectively engages customers and stakeholders. You'll produce written, organic content that sparks curiosity, celebrates creativity, and connects with the design and AI communities in a real way.
This is a rare opportunity to be foundational to Ideogram's growth, where you'll own and define Ideogram's brand voice. You'll have the creative freedom and autonomy to shape our presence online. You'll come up with ideas, bringing them to life quickly, and continuously iterating to inspire millions of people to see and share what Ideogram can do.
Your Mission
- Own written content creation: Develop, write, edit and/or proofread a range of written materials for internal and external audiences including landing pages, product and category pages, promotional pages, press releases, case studies, customer emails, ads and more.
- Drive content ideation: Constantly brainstorm and test new ideas, formats, and trends that make Ideogram relevant in cultural conversations, while aligning with our brand story.
- Collaborate cross functionally: Partner cross-functionally with our Video Content Creator, Brand Designer, Product and Sales teams to develop a content calendar that supports new product and features launches. Conduct content walkthroughs with project teams to drive messaging alignment.
- Develop a content calendar: Manage marketing content across the production workflow, including planning, drafting, approval, and publication, and measurement.
- Represent Ideogram's brand: Ensure content follows our brand guidelines for language, messaging, and tone. Ensure accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: 3-5 years of related experience in a content editor, content design, UX writing, or digital editorial environment. You have a track record of building a brand's expansive content resources from scratch.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with the principles of content strategy, inclusive writing, plain language principles, SEO, and user experience.
- Communicative: Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present content effectively to stakeholders.
- Self-Starter and Curious: You're able to take a high degree of initiative and work with minimal direction. You're tech-savvy and open to learning new technologies. You brainstorm, test, and learn quickly and constantly explore new opportunities for content creation.
Our Culture
We're a team of exceptionally talented, curious builders who love solving tough problems and turning bold ideas into reality. We move fast, collaborate deeply, and operate without unnecessary hierarchy, because we believe the best ideas can come from anyone.
Everyone at Ideogram rolls up their sleeves to make our products and our customers successful. We thrive on curiosity, creativity, and shared ownership. We believe that small, dedicated teams working together with trust and purpose can move faster, think bigger, and create amazing things.
