En tant qu'ingénieur(e) en Analyse de Tolérance aux Dommages (DTA), vous serez responsable de garantir l'intégrité structurale et la navigabilité des composants aéronautiques tout au long de leur cycle de vie. Votre travail portera principalement sur les évaluations de fatigue et de mécanique de la rupture, en appui aux activités de certification et à la conformité aux exigences réglementaires.

Votre rôle

  • Effectuer des analyses de tolérance aux dommages et de fatigue sur des structures métalliques et composites conformément aux normes et réglementations aéronautiques (p. ex., FAR/CS 25, Partie 26).
  • Développer et valider des modèles de propagation de fissures et des prédictions de durée de vie en utilisant des outils et méthodes reconnus par l'industrie.
  • Préparer et présenter des rapports de certification et des documents justificatifs pour les autorités réglementaires et les comités internes d'approbation.
  • Soutenir la conformité en matière d'intégrité structurale pour les nouvelles conceptions et modifications, en veillant au respect des exigences des OEM et des réglementations.
  • Collaborer avec les équipes de conception, de calcul de contraintes et d'ingénierie des matériaux afin de fournir des analyses pour les plans de certification et la justification structurale.
  • Participer aux revues de conception et aux audits de certification, en fournissant des justifications techniques pour les critères de tolérance aux dommages.
  • Assurer la conformité aux directives de navigabilité et aux programmes de maintien de l'intégrité structurale.
  • Contribuer au développement des méthodologies et à l'amélioration des processus pour l'analyse de tolérance aux dommages et de fatigue.

Vos compétences et votre expérience

  • Baccalauréat ou maîtrise en génie aéronautique, mécanique ou dans un domaine connexe.
  • Solide connaissance des principes de fatigue, de mécanique de la rupture et de tolérance aux dommages.
  • Expérience des processus de certification et de la conformité réglementaire (FAA, EASA).
  • Maîtrise des outils d'analyse tels que NASGRO, AFGROW ou équivalents.
  • Excellentes compétences en rédaction technique pour la documentation de certification.

About The Job You're Considering
As a Damage Tolerance Analysis (DTA) Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity and airworthiness of aerospace components throughout their lifecycle. Your work will focus on fatigue and fracture mechanics assessments, supporting certification activities, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Your role
Perform damage tolerance and fatigue analysis on metallic and composite structures in accordance with aerospace standards and regulations (e.g., FAR/CS 25, Part 26).

Develop and validate crack growth models and life predictions using industry-standard tools and methods.

Prepare and deliver certification reports and substantiation documents for regulatory authorities and internal approval boards.

Support structural integrity compliance for new designs and modifications, ensuring adherence to OEM and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with design, stress, and materials engineering teams to provide analysis input for certification plans and structural substantiation.

Participate in design reviews and certification audits, providing technical justification for damage tolerance criteria.

Ensure compliance with airworthiness directives and continued structural integrity programs.

Contribute to methodology development and process improvement for damage tolerance and fatigue analysis.

Your Skills And Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Strong knowledge of fatigue, fracture mechanics, and damage tolerance principles.

Experience with certification processes and regulatory compliance (FAA, EASA).

Proficiency in analysis tools such as NASGRO, AFGROW, or similar.

Excellent technical writing skills for certification documentation.
