Job Description

FLINT is seeking Journeyperson B pressure welders for a permanent position in Fort McMurray starting November 26, 2025. In this position, you will enjoy a Monday - Thursday, 10-hour workdays, and benefits after 300+ hours worked.

This position does not include camp accommodations, living out allowance, or travel allowance. Therefore, it is best suited for local candidates; however, those willing to travel or relocate at their own expense are also encouraged to apply.

Qualifications
  • Valid Journeyperson Welder ticket.
  • B-Pressure ticket is an asset.
  • Possess CWB certification as a testament to your welding skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications.
  • Ability to repair worn parts of metal products by welding extra layers.
  • Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
  • Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements:
    • CSO (Common Safety Orientation from Energy Safety Canada)
  • Able to provide a clean 3-year drivers abstract with under 9 demerits
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
Additional Information

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
