Lieu / Location: 50 % en présentiel à l'un des bureaux de Montréal, Brossard, Valcourt ou Sherbrooke (à valider selon le gestionnaire) / 50% on-site at one of the offices in Montreal, Brossard, Valcourt, or Sherbrooke (to be confirmed with the manager)

Le candidat doit posséder les qualifications suivantes

Requis :

• Diplôme de maîtrise en intelligence d'affaires (Business Intelligence) ou équivalent
• Expérience de travail au sein d'entreprises de plus de employés
• 8 à 15 ans d'expérience dans le domaine des données
• 8 à 10 ans d'expérience à titre d'architecte de données
• Forte connaissance de SQL
• Forte connaissance de SQL Server
• Expertise en modélisation des données (tous types, tous outils, architecture Medallion)
• Expérience solide et démontrée des différentes techniques de modélisation : relationnelle et dimensionnelle
• Esprit d'équipe, ouverture d'esprit et volonté constante d'échanger sur les modèles ou approches proposés
• Très bien organisé, capable d'élaborer un plan d'action et de prioriser ses tâches malgré des échéanciers conflictuels
• Force de proposition, créatif, avec un fort intérêt pour l'exploration et l'adoption de nouvelles technologies
• Excellentes aptitudes en communication orale et écrite, en français et en anglais, avec la capacité de préparer et de présenter des présentations exécutives
• Expérience de travail dans un modèle de livraison agile ; expérience avec SAP est un atout

Job Description

The client is looking for a Data Architect to join its team and take the global analytical practice to the next level. Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the overall enterprise data model, working closely with the business lines, data governance team and data engineers across the organization.
• Capture business requirements to establish relational, dimensional or data vault data models to support different data use cases.
• Review data models proposed by data engineers, analysts and scientists in order to optimize them, align them with the global model, and operationalize them, while ensuring adherence to industry standards and laws related to GDPR and SOX.
• Define and implement the architecture elements that will ensure the timeliness, quality, security and availability of data
• Continuously improve the BI platform architecture, from raw data capture to the presentation layer
• Be a leader in defining best practices and creative thinking

Required Skills

• Master Degree in Business Intelligence or equivalent
• Experience working with companies of over 10,000 employees
• 8–15 years of experience in the data domain
• 8–10 years of experience as a Data Architect
• Strong knowledge of SQL
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server
• Expertise in data modeling (all types, all tools, Medallion architecture)
• Solid and demonstrated experience on following various modeling techniques: Relational Dimensional
• Team-worker, open-minded and always willing to discuss the proposed model or approach to be taken
• Highly organized, able to build a "game plan ", and prioritize own tasks with conflicting delivery dates
• Constantly comes up with creative ideas for improvement, and loves to get my hands on new technologies.
• Excellent oral and written communicator, in French and English, able to prepare and make executive presentations
• Experience in working in an agile delivery model Experience with SAP is a plus

Asset

Desired knowledge of the platform. Equivalent platforms to Snowflake may be considered. The key requirement is that the Data Architect understands how data is ingested into Snowflake.

Strong communication skills with stakeholders; will work closely and frequently with them.
