  • Location: Schools in the Greater Hamilton & surrounding area
  • Schedule: Days 8am-4pm Monday through Friday, no On-Call required
  • Pay: $37.55 hourly

What You'll Do
As a School Registered Nurse, you'll play a hands-on role delivering personalized high-quality care to your clients in their community. As a primary care planner to your clients, you have the autonomy and flexibility to provide a holistic approach to care while increasing your skills through our comprehensive training, mentorship and preceptorship programs.

You will teach, delegate tasks and functions to different levels of workers and client family members while maintaining our industry's highest level of practice.

You are the nursing care expert for your community. With our efficient work schedules, you will be focused more on care time and less travel time.

Education & Certification

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current registration in good standing with the provincial regulatory body (CNO)
  • Additional certifications (e.g., CNA, LEAP, deSouza) are assets

Experience

  • 1–2 years of recent relevant nursing experience, preferably in a community or school setting
  • Experience with palliative, pediatrics, diabetes management, trach/vent care is an asset

Other Requirements

  • Valid G2 or G Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Willingness to travel within the Hamilton/Burlington area in all weather conditions
