About the Role…

The Senior Supply Chain Specialist is a critical operational role responsible for raw material and packaging procurement, upstream inventory accuracy, and the stabilization and continuous improvement of the inventory cycle across third-party manufacturers and partners.

This role combines hands-on execution, analytical depth, and process development to ensure inventory accuracy, supply continuity, and scalable operations in a complex, outsourced manufacturing environment. The Specialist acts as the operational backbone for raw materials, ingredients, and packaging — owning day-to-day execution while continuously strengthening tools, controls, and processes to reduce manual complexity and operational risk.

What You'll Do…

  • Own
    raw material and packaging ordering
    for third-party manufacturers
  • Lead
raw/pack inventory reconciliation and month-end accuracy
, including discrepancy investigation and resolution
  • Own and continuously improve the
    end-to-end upstream Inventory Cycle
, including documentation, controls, and process stabilization
  • Maintain, enhance, and develop core tools, including:
  • MRP and planning model (MIX)
  • Raw material and ingredient inventory evaluation tool (FIX)
  • Manage
raw material write-offs, adjustments, and inventory provision mechanics
    in coordination with Finance
  • Support
    inbound logistics and customs clearance
    for raw materials and packaging
  • Partner closely with Supply Planning to ensure
material availability aligns with production plans
  • Identify opportunities to
    simplify, automate, or systemize
    inventory and procurement processes
  • Provide operational support for
    major transitions or project work
(e.g., changes to TPM operating models)
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with
Planning, Plan & Deliver, Procurement, Finance, Quality, and TPM partners

What This Role Is…

  • A
    senior, hands-on specialist role
    with clear ownership and accountability
  • A blend of
execution, analytical problem-solving, and process building
  • A key stabilizing force in a
complex, outsourced manufacturing and inventory environment

What This Role Is Not…

  • Not a purely administrative or transactional role
  • Not a finished-goods distribution or 3PL operations role
  • Not a strategic sourcing or contract negotiation role

What You'll Need…

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in
supply chain, materials management, inventory control, or procurement operations
  • Hands-on experience with
    raw material and packaging procurement
  • Proven experience leading
inventory reconciliation, variance investigation, and month-end accuracy
  • Advanced
    Excel
skills, including complex formulas and large multi-sheet models
  • Experience working with
    ERP systems
    (SAP B1 or similar preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to
    build, stabilize, and improve processes
    in manual or evolving environments
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of operational outcomes
  • Collaborative, pragmatic, and comfortable working across functions

Considered an Asset

  • SCMP designation
(Supply Chain Management Professional) or active pursuit of the designation
  • Experience in
CPG, food manufacturing, or TPM environments
  • Exposure to
    MRP models
    or advanced planning tools
  • Experience supporting
inventory write-offs, provisions, or working-capital initiatives
  • Familiarity with
customs clearance or inbound logistics coordination

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Comfortable operating in
    complex, evolving environments
where structure is still being built
  • Detail-oriented, disciplined, and able to take full ownership of outcomes
  • Naturally inclined toward
    process improvement and systems thinking
  • Able to balance hands-on execution with continuous improvement
