We're an early-stage, VC-backed biotechnology company building a first-in-class therapeutic platform. We're hiring an industry postdoctoral scientist to own and lead quantitative biophysical assay development within a small, senior, execution-focused team.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone highly independent and excited to build core scientific capabilities from the ground up and help shape the foundations of a new therapeutic modality. Immediate start preferred.
What you will do
- Design, execute, and analyze quantitative binding assays (SPR, BLI, FP, and others as appropriate)
- Establish assay robustness, controls, and data-quality standards
- Interpret kinetic and affinity data to guide compound design
- Work closely with chemistry and biology to drive rapid design-test cycles
- Own experiments end to end, from setup through interpretation
What we're looking for
- PhD in biophysics, biochemistry, chemical biology, or a related field
- Strong hands-on experience with SPR, BLI, FP, or related biophysical methods
- High degree of independence and experimental judgment
- Comfort operating in an early-stage, fast-moving environment
- Computational chemistry or data-analysis skills are a plus
