Joel Friesen Homes is seeking a full time, skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our residential renovation company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in framing, finishing carpentry and other related carpentry tasks. Experience in residential construction and renovations will be an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in finishing carpentry and/or framing

  • Strong knowledge of residential home building and renovation procedures

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring a timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards

  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, with strong problem-solving skills

  • Strong leadership potential with an interest in taking on a supervisory role.

  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving abstract

Skills

  • Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools for various construction tasks.

  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.

  • Familiarity with woodworking techniques and cabinetry installation.

  • Electrical experience or plumbing skills are a plus but not mandatory.

  • Strong understanding of safety procedures related to construction sites
