As a
*Strategic Product Consultant Intern*
, you will work closely with our Integration Specialists to support Customers remotely on the Procore Resource Management suite of products on web and mobile applications. For a construction project, Strategic Product Consultants work in collaboration with our Integration Specialists and Customers' senior engineering team to resolve issues in a timely fashion and maintain maximum customer satisfaction second to none. The Strategic Product Consultant is responsible for tasks, such as hardware assembly, configuration, database automation, installation, commissioning, testing, virtual training, and ongoing system monitoring and support. Once a solution has been commissioned and deployed to a project site, various support tasks can include ongoing user training, support documentation, developing custom reports/dashboards, and identifying, analyzing, and repairing product issues and testing solutions. Strategic Product Consultants will also aid in product innovation by configuring and testing new emerging technologies and developing interfaces and applications for new hardware. Strategic Product Consultants support Integration Specialists to work closely with our customers and users to discover use cases and recommend new products and services that will help improve their daily operations and help meet their project goals.

This position reports to the
*Senior Manager - Implementation Services,
and will be based in our
Edmonton Office*
. We're looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you'll do:

  • Represent Procore in a positive, passionate, and professional manner.
  • Work with all personnel and outside contacts to satisfy customers to achieve company goals.
  • Identify areas of improvement in the company and assist in creating and implementing solutions.
  • Have a thorough working knowledge of SiteSense software applications and hardware solutions.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and unambiguous updates to the JIRA software development and issue-tracking system.
  • Perform custom hardware assembly and installations on Customer sites.
  • Require infrequent backline support while performing remedial activities on-site.
  • Recognize situations requiring escalation and provide the necessary support to resolve the events to the customer's satisfaction.
  • Provide training for SiteSense software and applications.
  • Receive ongoing technical training to enhance individual technical competency.
  • Work on Customer deliverables such as reports and import scripts.

What we're looking for:

  • W4/W5 working towards a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Proficiency in at least one modern object-oriented programming language such as JavaScript, C++, or C# (JavaScript is preferred).
  • Experience with the run-time environment is a plus.
  • Experience with relational database management systems such as MySQL is a plus.
  • Experience with Web development is a plus.
  • Team player as well as a self-starter who needs little supervision.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, Customer-facing, and problem-solving skills.

Base Pay Range:
CAD Annual
