Our GRAND PRAIRIE BRANCH has an exciting opportunity for a SHIPPER RECEIVER to join our team

What You Will Do:

The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, packing and shipping orders, managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse. You will work with your branch team members to deliver a high-quality customer experience that exceeds customer expectations through the following tasks:

• Accurately receive incoming product and match the quantity of items
  received to the shipping documents
• Prepare shipping documents
  for outbound products
• Package, label, and ship customer orders, verifying order accuracy
  before shipping
• Inspect stock
  items for wear or defects, and report any damaged or missing stock to management.
• Replenish inventory items in designated warehouse storage bins
• May receive, sort, and organize worn brake shoe cores for shipping to our remanufacturing facility
• May secure cargo to a vehicle (manual or forklift)
• May cross train to perform delivery driver duties
• Other duties as assigned

What We Require:

• Must have 1 year of general warehouse experience, shipping and receiving, or order picker experience using an RF Scanner or barcode gun, combined with a high school diploma or other equivalency certificate
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements: Lift up to 75-100lbs, frequent standing and walking, reading small print and numbers
• Experience operating a forklift, using a RF scanner, and familiarity with aftermarket parts or heavy-duty parts is preferred but not required
• Occasionally required to work overtime to meet business demands
• Excellent customer service skills 
• Strong communication skills, including both written and verbal
• Team-oriented, adaptable, with a commitment to safety excellence
