Maxx Liquidation Marketplace helps companies to sell off their overstock, undelivered and returned merchandise. Our website ) is our marketplace for consumers and wholesale customers to find all kinds of merchandise at great prices. Established in 2012, we are family-owned and proudly 100% Canadian.

CASHIER / LISTER

This full-time permanent dual position includes two important roles. This dual role requires working in both a retail as well as warehouse setting. In the Cashier role, you will be interacting with customers as they pick up their orders, responding to inquiries and providing customer service as needed. As time permits, you will also learn the Lister role, where you will be inspecting and evaluating products for resale, and then listing the products on our website. These varied responsibilities provide an interesting and exciting way for you to start your career with Maxx.

Candidates must have strong verbal communication skills and the ability to quickly learn new skills. There is also some physical lifting required (up to ~ 15kg). Maxx offers a 4 day, 40-hour workweek. Our shifts are 8am - 6:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8am - 7:30pm on Wednesdays and 8am - 5:30pm on Fridays, with a $25.31/hr starting wage and potential wage increases every 3 months. We provide a comprehensive Benefits Plan that covers Dental, Vision, Prescription, Massage, etc. and we also offer a profit-sharing, once you qualify.

Your Qualifications

· High school diploma. College or University education is a plus

· Candidates must be positive, reliable, conscientious and team-oriented.

· 1-3 years or more of experience working in a fast-paced environment, ideally with some cashier experience.

· Keyboard and typing skills are required. Familiarity with Microsoft and Google applications is also a plus.

· Strong communication skills (oral and written) are required; language is English.

· Candidates must be able to lift small-to-medium sized boxes, up to 15 kg in weight.
