We are hiring Come join our team at Flatlander Express Inc. We are a locally owned and operated courier business that delivers to rural areas in Saskatchewan. We offer competitive wages and benefits.

Full time (closed weekends)

Wage

Starting at $20 per hour

Start Time (shift is 4-10's)

7:00 am - Finish (Overtime as needed - on average the truck gets back at 8:00 pm)

4 days a week at 10 hours regular pay - anything over 10 hours is paid as time and a half

Requirements:

  • Experience with winter highway driving
  • Experience driving 1 ton & 3 ton trucks
  • Cell phone with GPS (Cell phone allowance provided)
  • Steel toed safety boots
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
  • A valid class 5 driver's license
  • No criminal record (Criminal Record Check to be provided upon hiring)
  • Good driving record (Driver's Abstract to be provided upon hiring)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Everyday Tasks:

  • Highway driving
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Communicate professionally with customers & co-workers
  • Drive company 1, 3 & 5 ton trucks making deliveries/pickups
  • Transport loads safely following the rules of the road
  • Represent yourself and our company to the highest standards
  • Maintain contact with dispatch and work to resolve issues as they arise
  • Verify load security and accuracy
  • Other duties as assigned by management
