Role Overview
We are currently looking for a Warehouse Associate who will receive-pick-pack-ship and wrap to deliver to our customers.

Inbound
Duties & Responsibilities

  • 95% of incoming containers are floor loaded and to be offloaded by hand (otherwise known as hand bombing, de-stuffing, lumping)
  • 5% of incoming containers are on pallets and to be offloaded by forklift (Reach, Counterbalance, Order Picker, Walkie)
  • Receive, put away and replenish merchandise physically and record all in our Warehouse Management system (SAP-JDA).

Outbound

  • Prepare, pick, pack, hand wrap and ship orders and record all in our Warehouse Management system (SAP-JDA).
  • Understand and execute against all standards and best practices/technical concepts in the Distribution Centre/Warehouse.
  • Work collaboratively with others to ensure orders are delivered on time.
  • Actively participate in the continuous improvement process.
  • Promote and comply with Health and Safety procedures and guidelines of the Distribution Centre.

These duties will rotate on a weekly basis.

Experience & Qualifications

  • High School certificate
  • 2 years minimum experience in a distribution centre/warehouse
  • 2 years experience operating Forklifts (Stand Up Reach and/or Order Picker an asset)
  • Computer skills, basic knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel and/or experience in WMS (Blue Yonder is an asset)
  • Ability to bend; Ability to lift to 50 pounds

Shift Details
Full time, 37.5 hours per week. Day Shift.
