Dessert First is evolving. Known for our desserts, cakes, and brunch, we are growing into a full-service restaurant with a strong dinner program. We're looking for a FOH Manager who thrives in service, leads by example, and helps keep the FOH running smoothly across all dayparts.

The Role:

The FOH Manager is responsible for leading the FOH team, implementing strong systems, and actively growing dinner service. This is a hands-on role that requires leading from the floor during service while building structure behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow dinner service through strong service standards and guest engagement
  • Implement and maintain FOH systems, procedures, and service standards
  • Manage daily FOH operations, including floor leadership and service execution
  • Train, coach, and motivate FOH staff
  • Handle guest issues and conflict resolution professionally and calmly
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with staff, kitchen, and ownership
  • Maintain a tidy, organized, and professional front-of-house environment
  • Drive sales growth, upselling, and service efficiency
  • Support scheduling, performance management, and team accountability
  • Responsible for ordering, inventory control, and waste reduction

This is a working FOH Manager position - you are required to work some server shifts, set the tone for service, and help build the future of Dessert First.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
