McInnes Cooper is currently seeking an experienced Corporate Commercial Lawyer to join our thriving team in Moncton, New Brunswick, where you will have the opportunity to engage in a broad range of complex matters. Our corporate and commercial team delivers comprehensive services spanning mergers and acquisitions, financings, securities and private placements, and major projects across a wide range of industries.

As a Corporate Commercial Associate, your key responsibilities will include:

Managing your own files while collaborating with colleagues on complex legal matters.

Providing legal services across a wide array of areas, such as general corporate, commercial and real estate matters.

Conducting legal research, providing legal opinions, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge on relevant legal developments.

Communicating effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel to ensure successful outcomes.

Representing clients in negotiations and deal structuring.

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

A minimum of two (2) years of corporate commercial experience.

Strong analytical, organizational and leadership skills.

Exceptional client-focused approach with effective interpersonal and communication abilities.

Ability to leverage technological skills and established procedures and processes.

Proven ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple files.

Proven ability to work as part of team.

A strong drive to succeed in a fast-paced and client-focused environment.
