A Day in the Life: Diagnose and resolve incidents associated with application software and operating systems and determine the source of issues and classify their urgency, impact, and natureConfigure, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot and support computer workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, phones and other computer and telecommunications equipmentInstall and support PC, laptop, tablet and mobile hardware and softwareImage workstations using Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager and deploy workstationsIdentify and effectively communicate recurring issues and trends and assist with creating efficiencies and processesParticipate in hardware and software reviews and recommend purchases with members of your teamMaintain inventory of installed software, manage software licensing and create policies and procedures for upgradesWork with hardware and software vendors to assist in remediation of incidents, verify timely product delivery, and ensure that new equipment is installed and ready to operate on scheduleDevelop and maintain documentation related to end user experience and devicesMust be able to travel to different client locations in and around Calgary as required What You Bring: 5+ years of IT support experience, including experience supporting a Microsoft environment in a Service Desk or Desktop Support RoleKnowledge of server operations, infrastructure, web interfaces, remote access tools Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environmentsExperience with:-> Microsoft Office O365 -> Remote support-> PC / printer hardware / VPN / Citrix-> Active DirectoryAbility to identify issues, escalate appropriately and work to resolve themEffective written and verbal communication skillsValid driver's license and a reliable vehiclePost-secondary education in a related fieldWhat Makes You Extra Awesome: CompTIA A+ CertificationMicrosoft Certifications Why Work at Long View?
