Position Overview:

As a member of the software and support team you will play a key role in many aspects of the product development & implementation lifecycle, including research, analysis, design, coding and testing of our custom software.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical and Programming Skills:

JDE Experience with the following modules.

  • Manufacturing Management
  • Procurement
  • Financials
  • Sales Order Management
  • Inventory Control

  • Extensive experience in JD Edwards Enterprise One Toolset including interactive application, report writing, BSFN, NER and Interface design, development and maintenance.

  • Design, develop, test, and implement core applications.

Databases – IBM I DB2 and MS SQL
- Oracle JDE Tools, Named Event Rules (NER), Table Design Aid (TDA). Form Design Aid (FDA), Reports Design Aid (RDA), Business Function Development (NER and C), JDE Solution Explorer, JDeveloper and related JDE development process and methodologies.
- 6+ years of experience as a developer in a real working environment using C#, Java.
- Expertise with programming languages: Java, C#, , Web API, HTTP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java ASP,

(C#,), Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Experience with Web Services, Service Oriented Architectures and object-oriented programming Develop code to write and read from a database.
- Participate in design reviews and code walk-throughs.
Develop software that is extremely reliable, robust and traceable.
- Analyzing complex functions, procedures, and problems to deliver creative, logical, and effective solutions that meets the specified requirements
- Apply unit tests, automation, and tools to produce the highest quality code long before anyone gets to testing it.
- Participate in system level activities such as integration and system test as required
- Implement and deploy working software in an iterative manner, fix challenging bugs in existing code.
- Communicate project/work status orally, written, or other as required
- Must be passionate about implement new technology but with ability to delivery rock solid code;
- Object oriented design and
Experience with thin-client and service-oriented architectures.
- Tracking software bug reports, including performing root cause analyses and attempting bug fixes.

Documentation:

  • Generate appropriate documentation for the proper ongoing support and maintenance of software modules.
  • Review, evaluate and update Design documentation.
  • Documenting design process and reporting development progress at regular intervals.

Other:

  • Participate in the team's second level of support rotation, which also includes after hour and weekend support as needed
  • Other duties as assigned from time to time.

Professional Qualifications & Skills:

  • College or University graduate with a Computer Information Systems (or similar program).
  • 6+ years of work experience in JDE environment, Proven experience as a JDE Developer, with a strong understanding of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
  • Proficiency in JDE tools, including form design, report design, business functions
  • Provide deep expertise in the following Modules Manufacturing, Purchasing, Shipping and Finance
  • Strong Knowledge and experience with the JDE Tools (C#,), Java, ,C++ HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, XML, Sharepoint, SQL and Crystal reporting. MS Windows 11, Windows Server 2016/2019, Office 365, SQL 2016/2019.
  • Experience using JDE development tools (NER,TDA,FDA,RDA,NER) to customize applications based on business needs.
  • Works effectively to enhance our recent implementation of JDE 9.2
  • 6+ years of experience with application development in a Microsoft environment, Visual Studio, C#, , Java and WebForms, Crystal Reporting
  • Hands-on experience with SQL/Oracle development is essential. Experience writing reports with Business Objects / Crystal Reports. Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications. Prepare and produce releases of software components.
