Your Daily Contribution & Impact:

  • Responsible as super-user of industry leading price management program (PROs)
  • Assist Product Managers with category reviews regarding pricing, discounts and make recommendations as necessary.
  • Identify opportunities and provide recommendations to improve our consumer and commercial pricing.
  • Manage the price architecture and brand relationships within categories and provide insight to inform our pricing framework.
  • Responsible for piloting the implementation of pricing structures when launching new product lines (Analyze existing lines - Analyze competition - Validate original strategy etc.).
  • Competitive intelligence: feeding the competition's pricing database.
  • Take charge of the various projects assigned to him/her and follow up with the various teams to ensure deadlines are met; the conversion of newly acquired stores to our POS system is one example.
  • Analyze and implement price changes received from various suppliers.
  • Ensure communication of price changes to the various departments concerned.
  • Master the various processes and update documentation (SOP).
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of business processes between departments.
  • Review promotional prices received by category managers and provide recommendations.
  • Support the entire network in price adjustment requests: Price models, contract prices, customer exceptions, local promotions, and provide impact analysis and recommendations.
  • Validate customer requests for price changes or price groups from the network, according to the processes in place.

Expertise & Essential Skills:

  • Experience with PROS or other price management software (Price FX, Zilliant etc.) is highly recommended.
  • Bachelor's degree in a discipline relevant to the duties of the position, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-3 years in product categorisation experience and / or price management.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel skills).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Attention to details.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Capacity to solve complex problems and explain them.
  • Ability to work independently and have a great sense of organization.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in both French and English.
