Job Description: The Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse provides direct patient care and facilitates the provision of care by supporting, counselling and guiding personnel, patients and their responsible others; will be required to develop and facilitate groups, establishing and maintaining nursing practice standards and other related duties.

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
• Current BCLS certification

Other Education and Training

• Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable
• Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
• Nursing diploma is acceptable

Experience

Applicants with recent acute mental health nursing experience and PART desired. 

• Scheduled hours of work may be reduced (if applicable) during the rotation stipulated when a statutory holiday is recognized during that period.
• Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) or with the Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of SK (RPNAS)
