Associate Dentist Needed Part Time In West Kelowna, CA Make up to $150k/yr
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring high-quality treatment and exceptional patient experiences. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment utilizing advanced dental technology and adhering to the highest standards of infection control and patient confidentiality. The Associate Dentist will play a vital role in diagnosing, planning, and executing a wide range of dental procedures, including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive patient examinations, assessments, and diagnoses using dental terminology and medical records.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, including preventive care and complex procedures such as root canal therapy, dental extractions, and prosthodontics.
- Utilize dental imaging techniques and maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Conduct procedures involving oral surgery, endodontics, and other specialty treatments with aseptic technique.
- Engage in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.
- Educate patients on oral health care, treatment options, and post-treatment instructions to promote optimal patient care.
- Maintain infection control standards through proper sterilization techniques and adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with dental team members to ensure seamless patient flow and high-quality service delivery.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology, including Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix software systems, and other relevant tools.
Skills
- Proficiency in using dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric dentistry, general dentistry procedures, and dental terminology.
- Experience with oral surgery techniques including dental extractions and root canal therapy.
- Ability to perform prosthodontics procedures and manage complex cases involving dental fabrication.
- Skilled in medical imaging interpretation and understanding of anatomy knowledge relevant to dentistry.
- Excellent patient care skills with a focus on patient assessment and delivering compassionate service.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations, medical documentation standards, and infection control protocols.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for explaining treatment plans clearly to patients of all ages. This position requires prior experience in dental clinics or offices along with a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
