Mrs. Dunster's has been a family tradition throughout the Maritimes and Maine for 50 years. We are a local, family owned and operated fresh bakery, with bakery operations in Sussex, NB, and Moncton, NB. We are known for our unique products, our great customer service, our talented team and our passion for community involvement.

We are seeking an individual to fill the role of Baker at our Sussex facility. This person would be responsible for baking various types of sweets, cakes, etc.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and monitor baking, or package baked goods.
  • Follow recipes precisely
  • Clean work areas, tools, and equipment, as well as related work areas as needed (this may include sweeping, washing dishes, etc.).
  • Work in compliance with food safety/quality standards.
  • Able to learn quickly, while working in a fast-paced environment while paying attention to detail.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a professional bakery or similar environment.
  • Possess basic math skills, in order to precisely mix recipes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
