Job Purpose

At Mucho Burrito, we are passionate about providing our guests with a great meal and an even better experience. We use real food and the freshest ingredients to pack our menu full of chef-designed, authentic Mexican flavours. As a member of our team, you are not only an expert at preparing the guest's food, but an expert in engaging with our guests and creating a memorable experience.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Able to work morning/afternoon shifts
  • Contribute to a positive team environment
  • Provide the highest level of hospitality by engaging and interacting with guests
  • Prepare all food and beverage items to the highest standard following recipes and procedures
  • Anticipate and respond to flow of orders to ensure timely completion of all food items
  • Knowledgeable about the menu and can communicate this to the guests
  • Accurately complete all station set up and closing procedures
  • Maintain food quality control and productivity at all times
  • Adhere to all safe food handling procedures and uphold food safety practices
  • Maintain cleanliness and health & safety standards of your station at all times
  • Follow all operational policies and procedures
  • Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or service environment preferred
  • Valid Food Handlers Certificate preferred

Skills & Fit

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to learn quickly

Physical Requirements

  • Constant standing/walking for duration of shift on a hot cooking line
  • Occasional pushing, pulling, light lifting

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
