Senior Quality Systems Engineer

Location: Ontario, Canada

Long-Term Project

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and sustain the
    Quality Management System (QMS)
    in compliance with:
  • IATF 16949
  • ISO 9001
  • ISO 14001
  • OHSAS 18001
  • ISO Functional Safety)
  • Lead
    continuous improvement initiatives
    to enhance quality processes and systems.
  • Regulate, control, and improve the quality of internal processes and final products.
  • Plan, manage, and support
    internal and external audits
    , ensuring timely closure and verification of non-conformances.
  • Maintain and update quality documentation, procedures, and records to meet certification and regulatory requirements.
  • Support
    functional safety management
    activities for
    NPI (New Product Introduction)
    programs.
  • Assist in defining and monitoring
    department KPIs
    to drive performance and compliance.
  • Support
    management reviews,
    quality reporting, and compliance tracking.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams.
  • Perform additional quality and compliance-related tasks as required.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree
    with
    5–7 years
    of relevant experience
    OR Master's degree
    with
    3–5 years
    of relevant experience in a technical or related field
  • Strong experience in
    Automotive Quality Systems
  • Certified Automotive Functional Safety Professional (ISO 26262)
    —required

Minimum experience with:

  • ISO 9001:
    5+ years
  • IATF 16949:
    5+ years
  • ISO 14001:
    3+ years
  • Hands-on experience supporting
    audits, compliance, and QMS documentation
  • Knowledge of
    ADAS, automotive ICs, and EV power conversion technologies
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to work
    on-site
    at the specified location
