Your expertise will help transform care delivery, foster continuous improvement, and advance the health and safety of patients and communities Who We Are Looking For  Accreditation Canada is accepting applications for experienced health care professionals working for accredited Accreditation Canada organizations to join our team of over 500 surveyors This role is ideal for those with clinical expertise as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Medical Doctor (Physician We invite applicants with experience in one or multiple of the following sectors: Telemedicine, Integrated Care, Independent Medical Surgery Facilities, Health Tourism, Aging Care, Mental Health, Acute Care, Cancer Care, Emergency Medical Services, Rehabilitation, Stroke, Trauma, and Hospice to apply Your Impact  As a surveyor, you will:  

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to conduct on-site surveys.   Assess organizational programs and services against standards of excellence, identifying opportunities for improvement.   Share your expertise to guide organizations in adopting best practices and achieving better outcomes.    Key Details  Location: Outside of Canada    Time Commitment: Minimum of two surveys per year (approximately 10 days Support: Receive initial training, ongoing professional development, a modest honorarium, and full travel reimbursement as per expense policy Required Qualifications  Employment in an organization accredited by Accreditation Canada and located outside of Canada.  Senior-level experience in one or more of these areas: Telemedicine, Integrated Care, Independent Medical Surgery Facilities, Health Tourism, Aging Care, Mental Health, Acute Care, Cancer Care, Emergency Medical Services, Rehabilitation, Stroke, Trauma, Hospice. Clinical expertise as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Medical Doctor (Physician) with valid licensure. Experience working with patients, clinicians, administrators, or governance teams on service design or quality improvement initiatives and a strong commitment to improving care quality. Proficiency in English (writing and communication) and technology.   Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with a positive, adaptable attitude.    Preferred Qualifications  Fluency in additional languages such as French, Farsi, Italian, Spanish, Slovenian, Greek, or German.    Why This Role Matters  Surveyors are at the heart of our mission to create a culture of excellence in health care.
