Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role based in the Greater Montreal Metropolitan Area for a Full Stack Engineer. The Full Stack Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of web applications using modern technologies. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting, implementing user-friendly interfaces, ensuring system scalability, and contributing to feature enhancements. Additionally, the role involves ensuring code quality, performance optimization, and staying current with emerging technologies to drive innovation within the platform.

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • 3+ years of professional experience
  • Experience working on real production projects
  • Strong programming fundamentals and clean code habits
  • Debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Git and basic unit testing
  • Cloud experience, preferably Microsoft Azure
  • Experience using AI coding tools like Copilot or Cursor, etc.

Tech stack:

  • Python
  • React
  • FastAPI
  • Mobile development (Android and iOS)
  • Databases (design and queries)

Nice to haves:

  • Knowledge of deploying applications using containers and service-based environments
  • Familiarity with CI/CD
  • C++ experience
