We are looking for a Migration Technical Analyst for a 1 month contract role. Role is fully on site in Markham.

Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced
M365 Migration Support Consultants
to assist in the first phase of a large-scale Microsoft 365 (M365) user migration project. This phase involves migrating approximately
450 knowledge users (E3 license holders)
to the new M365 platform. The successful candidates will work directly with end-users at their deskside, guiding them through the migration process to ensure a smooth and productive transition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and conduct deskside migration sessions with each of the 450 E3 license users.
  • Follow a defined runbook to ensure consistency and accuracy across all migrations.
  • Guide users through the migration plan and explain the process clearly.
  • Install the latest version of Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise.
  • Run required scripts to support user migration.
  • Implement and verify necessary connections and redirections.
  • Disable folder redirection and offline files.
  • Assist users in migrating personal data to M365.
  • Ensure each user is fully operational post-migration with access to all documents and files.
  • Report and escalate technical issues to system engineers or administrators as needed.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in
    Service Management, Help Desk, or Level 2 Support
    roles.
  • Hands-on experience with
    Microsoft 365
    in an enterprise environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and end-users.
  • Strong
    customer service
    orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Strongly preferred:
    Prior experience supporting or implementing
    M365 migrations
    .
  • Familiarity with E3/F3 licensing and enterprise deployment strategies.
