Job Summary

We are a new, boutique-style nail salon located in the River Heights area, close to Polo Park. We are seeking a talented and professional Nail Technician to join our beauty team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and other nail treatments, while delivering outstanding customer service. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your skills in a friendly environment focused on client satisfaction and beauty enhancement. The Nail Technician will also assist with retail sales and promote additional services such as body waxing to enhance the client experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of nail care services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and attention to detail
  • Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools in accordance with health regulations
  • Assist with ordering nail products and checking inventory and storage levels.
  • Provide excellent customer service by understanding client needs, offering personalized recommendations, and ensuring a relaxing experience
  • Upsell additional services such as body waxing or retail products to enhance client satisfaction and business growth
  • Educate clients on proper nail care routines and aftercare instructions
  • Keep the work area organized and stocked with necessary supplies for efficient service delivery
  • Foster a welcoming environment that encourages repeat business and positive reviews

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Nail Technician or similar role with relevant certifications/licenses required by state regulations.
  • 2+ years professional nail salon experience preferred
  • Skilled in various nail techniques including nail care, gel, acrylics, and nail art
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
  • Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for hygiene and safety
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
  • Retail sales experience is desirable for promoting products and additional services
  • Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining a focus on client satisfaction

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
