To support Activate's continued growth, we are looking to add a Production Team Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the picking function within the production facility. This role involves overseeing the accurate and efficient picking of components and materials according to production schedules and quality standards and assisting with assembly and repairs as needed. This is a full-time, permanent position on the day shift. Only candidates with picking experience at Activate Games will be considered.

The Duties And Responsibilities
Leadership

  • Coordinating employee responsibilities and work flow
  • Lead employees through coaching and training, setting up an effective training process for new employees
  • Streamline processes and practices for simple but effective facility operations
  • Leveraging leadership in decision making for the team as needed
  • Foster communication between employees and production leadership to ensure staff are aware of, and updated on schedule/changes

Part Picking & Assembly

  • Coordinate daily picking operations to meet production targets.
  • Manage incoming sales orders, and ensure they are filled accurately and in a timely fashion
  • Must work closely with Team Leads from other departments when completing orders
  • Ensuring adherence to quality control standards and proper handling of materials.
  • Collaborating with production planning and inventory teams to resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.

Fabrication & Assembly

  • Use various hand and power tools to complete minor game component assemblies based on part drawings and assembly guides

The Qualifications

  • Experience in the picking function at Acitvate Games is required
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High School Diploma
