Job Description

Position: Commercial Producer, Radio, Bell Media, Unifor 191 Media 
Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience

Overview:

Bell Media Radio Winnipeg is seeking a full-time commercial audio producer to join our National English Radio Creative Services team. This is a rare opportunity to be a part of an award-winning group of producers supporting multiple brands and platforms across the country. The successful applicant will be able to hit the ground running in this fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Create compelling, creative commercial production for Bell Media audio brands that generates results for our clients and value for our listeners
  • Assist with gathering voiceovers for creative projects to run on TV and Digital
  • Dub supplied creative where needed
  • Assist with local programming needs
  • Assist with additional audio related projects as needed
  • Work closely with the Creative, Programming, Sales and Promotions departments
Skill Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar or related position
  • Broadcast Audio Production Certificate or equivalent technical production schooling and/or training
  • Highly proficient with production software including Avid Pro Tools and Adobe Audition and production hardware including audio consoles, interfaces, and mics.
  • Highly proficient in Wide Orbit Automation or equivalent radio automation platform
  • Experience with Wide Orbit Traffic an asset
  • Experience with vCreative (vPro Media) an asset
  • Experience in voiceover sessions an asset (both voicing and directing)
  • Experience in handling creative for multiple markets an asset
  • Knowledge of music editing and basic music theory an asset
  • Knowledge of audio post-production for video content an asset

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
