Position Summary
Kiewit is seeking an experienced Equipment Operator Lead Hand for the Woodfibre Project in BC. This role involves operating various types of equipment in a marine-adjacent industrial environment. Candidates must be local to Coquitlam, BC, as the position is based at the Marine Yard.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience operating zoom boom, calmar or similar forklift, shunt truck, high way truck and trailer
- Lead hand experience
Marine experience is an asset
Backing trailers onto barges
- Loading/offloading equipment and materials from barges
Must be familiar with hydraulic systems while working in a marine environment
Must have Class 1 Driver's license and provide 5 year Driver's Abstract
- Valid Zoom Boom Ticket
- Valid Forklift Ticket
- CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015
Shift Information
- 5/2 rotation
- Must be available to work days or nights
Additional Information
- No LOA - daily commute required. Must be local to Coquitlam, BC
- Base rate of $43.30/hour + Lead hand premium of $3.00/hour
- Upon an offer, all candidates must be able to pass a SureHire Drug, Alcohol, & 50lb Fitness to work test.
