DOMTOR Energy Services is seeking a reliable and motivated General Labourer to support day-to-day field and operational activities. This role involves assisting with job site preparation, material handling, light construction-related tasks, and general support to technicians and energy advisors. The ideal candidate is dependable, willing to learn, and comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in various conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with job site setup, cleanup, and basic preparation tasks.

  • Load, unload, and move materials and equipment as required.

  • Support technicians and team members during home efficiency and building performance projects.

  • Perform basic repairs, insulation handling, air sealing preparation, and other manual tasks under supervision.

  • Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

  • Travel with team members to job sites across Cape Breton and surrounding regions.

  • Communicate professionally with clients and team members, ensuring a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

  • No formal experience required — training will be provided.

  • Experience in construction, trades, warehouse, landscaping, or physical labour roles is an asset.

  • Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials and equipment.

  • Comfortable working in attics, basements, and other enclosed or elevated areas when needed.

  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn new skills.

  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation are assets (not required but preferred).

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work on ladders, uneven surfaces, and confined spaces when necessary.

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs as part of daily duties.

  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
