As we continue to expand, we are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Control Administrator to support our Quality Control department and ensure that our projects meet NYP's standards of excellence.

Position Summary

The Quality Control Administrator plays a key role in supporting project quality, reviewing inspections, coordinating with field teams, maintaining documentation, and ensuring that all NYP quality procedures are followed. This role works closely with Project Coordinators, Field Managers, Supervisors, and Foremen to ensure consistent quality and efficient project performance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Quality Procedures & Standards

  • Understand and follow NYP's Quality Policy and Quality Control Procedures.
  • Apply NYP paint procedures to help achieve consistent, high-quality results.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and new developments in quality management.

2. Coordination & Communication

  • Coordinate with Field Coordinators and Supervisors to understand site requirements and reports.
  • Support smooth communication between field teams and office teams.
  • Review exterior mock-ups, coordinate corrections, and ensure compliance with NYP QC procedures.

3. Inspections & Reporting

  • Review and support pre-inspection and quality control reports at Prime, Second Coat, and Final stages.
  • Identify deficiencies and communicate required corrections to site teams.
  • Maintain organized and complete QC records and documentation.

4. Process Improvement & Compliance

  • Recommend improvements to quality procedures and assist in updating policies.
  • Verify contractor compliance with required documentation and standards.
  • Raise, track, and report non-conformances in accordance with project procedures.

5. Training & Support

  • Train new and existing employees on NYP Quality Control Procedures.
  • Support internal departments with quality planning and standards.
  • Assist in conducting quality and regulatory training sessions.

6. Documentation & Administrative Tasks

  • Prepare and maintain quality management documentation.
  • Update and track the BC Project Checklist for assigned sites.
  • Distribute pre-inspection and QC reports to the correct recipients and maintain tracking.

7. Deficiency & Closeout Management

  • Communicate deficiencies to workers and track corrective actions.
  • Ensure all deficiency/touch-up items are completed and signed off.
  • Prepare closeout confirmation emails to clients or internal teams.

8. Extra Work Reports (as needed)

  • Provide support to Foremen completing extra work reports when requested by Project Coordinators.

9. Field & Team Support

  • Assist Foremen with site questions or issues when required.
  • Support communication flow to ensure timely resolution of site-related concerns.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
