RV & Powersports Service Manager – Camp Canada RV

Camp Canada RV is a family-owned and operated dealership serving customers across Canada. We take pride in providing quality RV and powersports sales, service, and repairs that help our customers make lasting memories on the road and trail. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead our service department and uphold our commitment to quality, reliability, and outstanding customer care.
Position Overview:
The Service Manager will oversee the daily operations of our RV and powersports service department. This role requires a strong leader who can manage a team of technicians, coordinate workflow, maintain high repair standards, and ensure every customer receives exceptional service. The ideal candidate has a mix of technical knowledge, management experience, and a genuine passion for the RV and powersports industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the service team, including technicians and service advisors
- Schedule, prioritize, and oversee repair and maintenance work orders
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding diagnostics, repairs, and timelines
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient service environment
- Ensure all work meets manufacturer and dealership quality standards
- Track service department performance and implement process improvements
- Work closely with parts and sales departments for smooth workflow coordination
- Handle warranty claims, service records, and billing processes
- Train and mentor staff to promote growth, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a Service Manager or leadership role within RV, automotive, or powersports industries
- Strong technical knowledge of RV systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, roofing) and/or powersports equipment
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with scheduling, invoicing, and dealership management software
- Commitment to safety, quality, and customer care
Preferred but not required:
- Trade certification or RVTI credentials
- Experience handling warranty processes and manufacturer relations
- Knowledge of both RV and powersports systems and equipment
