Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments
  • Design and deliver individualized rehabilitation and fitness programs
  • Lead one-on-one rehabilitation or fitness training sessions
  • Educate patients on exercise progression, injury prevention, and recovery strategies
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals regarding patient care and progress
  • Document patient assessments and progress using electronic medical records
  • Stay current with kinesiology research and best clinical practices

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or related field
  • Registered Kinesiologist or eligibility for certification
  • Pilates certification (required or strongly preferred)
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and medical terminology
  • Experience in a rehabilitation or acute care setting is an asset
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Comfortable using electronic medical records
  • Multilingual abilities (Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, etc.) are an asset
