This includes maintaining a centralized investor database and establishing secure, efficient protocols for sharing key data with both internal and external partners.
  • External Event Delivery & Representation: Support the execution of external events and represent MaRS within external programs. You will ensure seamless event delivery while acting as a professional point of contact for the Health Sciences team.
  • Resource Development: Lead the creation and standardization of key internal and external resources, such as updating the team page, developing standardized pitch decks, and tracking key performance metrics.
  • Process Automation & Intake: Manage the intake workflow in Salesforce and identify opportunities to automate manual tasks to improve overall team efficiency.
  • Data Visualization & Reporting: Create dashboards and pipeline reports to track recruitment trends, intake metrics, and ecosystem health to support data-driven decision-making.

  • Currently enrolled in your Master's program at one of the following schools: UofT, Waterloo, McGill U, UBC.
  • Studies in Health Sciences, Engineering, Software are preferred.
  • Experience working with databases or CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Airtable).
  • Strong ability to conduct market research to identify emerging companies and map the investor landscape.
  • Highly organized with the ability to build structured processes out of manual or "messy" data.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal team members and represent MaRS professionally to external founders and investors.

Great to have (but not required)

  • Familiarity with workflow automation tools like Zapier or Salesforce flows.
  • A baseline understanding of the health landscape, venture capital, or startup incubators.
  • Experience creating "playbooks" or documentation that helps a team replicate successful tasks.
