Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Toronto, ON, for the position of Senior Scrum Master. The Senior Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating agile ceremonies, ensuring the Scrum framework is adhered to, and removing impediments to team progress. The role involves closely interacting with development teams and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects and driving continuous improvement. The Senior Scrum Master will also mentor and coach team members in agile best practices, ensuring collaboration, transparency, and alignment across teams and projects.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies, Scrum, and SAFe frameworks
  • Proficient in facilitating Scrum ceremonies and driving team collaboration
  • Ability to identify and remove blockers to ensure optimal team performance
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and effective communication with diverse teams
  • Track record of guiding teams toward continuous improvement and high-quality delivery
  • Experience with project management tools such as JIRA or equivalent software
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and coach team members
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred
  • Certification in Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is an asset
  • Experience in the financial or fintech sector is a plus
