Job Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the provision of safe quality nursing care to clients. The focus of this position is in the area of Surgical Services and Ambulatory Care Programs. The incumbent will also provide care in the Emergency Room and inpatient units as required. Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
  • Perioperative Nursing certificate

Other Education and Training

  • Community Oncology Program of Saskatchewan trained
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • Nursing diploma is acceptable
  • Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale certificate (CTAS)
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)

Additional Comment

  • No guaranteed hours. Must be Available a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours per 3 week period. Must be available all shifts, short shifts, short notice calls, stats and holidays, where applicable.
