Role Description
This is a temporary on-site role for a Personal Support Worker in Kingston, ON. The Personal Support Worker will be responsible for providing support to clients in their daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being. This includes assisting with personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. The role also involves providing emotional support and companionship to clients, while maintaining clear and effective communication with clients and their families.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Support Worker
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and effective Communication abilities
- Knowledge and experience in Safeguarding practices
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail
- Empathy and a genuine desire to help others
- Relevant certification or diploma in Personal Support Work is preferred
- First Aid and CPR certification is beneficial
