YOUR EXPERTISE AND SKILLS
Individuals with experience in the following are preferred:
- Working with air testing equipment and analyzers
- Experience in emissions testing using both Canadian and US EPA emission testing methodologies
- Working with electrical equipment
- Working with mechanical equipment
- Repairing electrical and mechanical equipment
- Experience with calibrating equipment
- Working in an outdoor environment
- Working independently
- Farming experience or background a plus
A DAY IN THE LIFE
The job will require the following general tasks to be completed on a routine basis:
- Assisting with emissions testing programs throughout North America
- Driving to and from work sites, including hauling and parking equipment trailers
- Preparation, packing, set up, testing and demobilizing for testing programs
- Calibrating and maintaining emissions sampling equipment
- Repairing emissions sampling equipment
- Operating sampling equipment
- Cleaning sampling equipment
- Delivering samples
- Data entry in Microsoft Excel and Workday
- Keeping vehicles, storage areas and lab areas clean and organized
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate should have the following:
- A valid Class G driver's license
- A valid passport, and ability to travel and work in the United States
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work at heights (50ft-200ft)
- Ability to work in hot and cold ambient conditions
- Ability to work overtime
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (50 lbs.)
- Ability to travel on short notice
- Be able to work effectively in a team environment
