A patient's family is seeking a caregiver for a female patient who has expressed a preference for a same-sex caregiver for personal care services. Patient is an elderly lady who has mobility challenges.

Schedule:
  • Monday to Sunday, 8 am to 12 noon and 4 pm to 8 pm (8 hours per day)

Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Location: Depends on which bus route you takes, it is approximately a 1 to 12 min walk from the closed bus stop (for those using public transit).

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
  • Access to reliable transportation.
  • Certified PSW or equivalent qualification

What you will be doing:
  • Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
  • Provide assistance with personal care.
  • Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.
  • Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.
  • Properly manage household needs.
  • Provide companionship and respite services for the family.

Salary Range:
  • $20 / hour
