Junior Accountant

Overview

We are seeking a part time Junior Accountant with the possibility of extending as full-time. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop foundational accounting skills within a dynamic corporate environment. The successful candidate will support various financial and administrative functions, including organization of documents, account reconciliation, and contributing to the overall accuracy and integrity of our financial data. Candidates should focus on attention to detail, and a proactive approach to learning.

Duties

• Assist with accounts payable to organize the invoices
• Perform credit card reconciliations along with receipts and invoices and account analysis to verify accuracy of financial records
• Assist the operation team to carry out inventory count and valuation
• Support the admin team in office maintenance
• Collaborate with senior accountants on special projects related to corporate finance and financial services

Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance and related field
• Certification on Quick books online is preferred.
• Knowledge of accounting principles including bookkeeping and account reconciliation
• Experience with accounts payable and inventory management
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong analytical skills coupled with attention to detail
• Effective communication skills for collaborating within a team environment and supporting cross-departmental functions
