This is a 6 month contract

MUST HAVES:

  • Financial Industry experience
  • Investor relations experience

Investor Engagement & Reporting

  • Maintain and update the internal investor and analyst database.
  • Track and record feedback from institutional meetings, conferences, ESG-focused discussions, and other stakeholder engagements.
  • Prepare regular executive-level reports summarizing investor relations activities and upcoming events.
  • Coordinate analyst and investor calls around earnings and other announcements.
  • Monitor analyst estimates and consensus data.

Event Planning & Execution

  • Lead weekly team meetings, set agendas, track priorities, and manage calendars of key events.
  • Coordinate logistics for industry conferences, investor meetings, and roadshows, including scheduling, investor targeting, and creating briefing materials.
  • Organize executive travel arrangements related to investor events.
  • Attend select events (virtually or in person) as needed.
  • Support the planning and execution of shareholder meetings and proxy season activities.

Communication & Document Preparation

  • Assist in preparing first drafts of external communication materials such as:
  • Investor presentations
  • Press releases
  • Annual and quarterly reports
  • Help create materials for executive and board-level meetings.
  • Maintain content on the corporate website related to investor relations and ESG.

General Support

  • Monitor general inquiry inboxes and route messages to appropriate internal teams.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support team operations.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of capital markets and institutional investor dynamics.
  • Prior experience in investor relations or a related field (experience in a resource or capital-intensive industry is an asset).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Capable of working calmly under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment while also working independently.
